The Playground Wall is an interactive installation situated in the Delft University, sports & culture facility. It is part of the interior concept created by BENDE Rotterdam allowing for a playful shared space within the sports facilities.
The installation responds to people passing by, and does so in various ways that invite them to interact and play. Every day the wall runs a different program, allowing people to interact with it in various ways. One day you can play a game of pong, the other day you can draw with light.
Interactive Matter created the full system architecture, software and hardware for this system, consisting of over 500 pixels and sensors.
