Sensotoop is an interactive installation designed by Mats Horbach. It is intended to illustrate the inner workings of a mobile phone, by allowing people to walk through the installation that features the same sensors and actuators as a mobile phone, but on a larger scale.

We created touch, light, distance, and sound sensors that actuated leds, speakers, vibration motors and heating. The sensors and actuators are connected via a small network to the central processing unit representing the combined activity in its light-behaviour.
